Awakening Power
Awakening Power
I have always been fascinated by the nature of wild grass—soft, strong, and resilient. While it may not boast the same beauty as flowers, it thrives and survives the winter while flowers fade. In this cyanotype, I seek to portray the awakening power within the inner heart, even in challenging circumstances. Waves and storms shout, while an eagle spreads its strong wings, fighting against adversity. May this print inspire you to embody resilience and strength in the face of challenges.
Starting with real botanicals that I have harvested, dried, and pressed throughout the seasons; the original cyanotype is hand-made using sunlight, photographic chemicals, and developed in a water bath.

About Cyanotype
About Cyanotype
The cyanotype is a photographic process that produces a Prussian blue monochrome print. Developed in 1842, this technique utilizes a photosensitive solution that reacts to sunlight exposure. Plants act as UV shields, leaving their impressions on the paper.
Each cyanotype print is unique, as variations in weather conditions or the distribution of the photosensitive solution can affect the shades of blue and imperfections, adding to the charm of this artisanal printing technique.

First time of my life to pay for an art. I perceived this one very beautiful and it makes my room more lovely. I found it in a little market and it is the only thing I bought that afternoon. Totally worth it.
