Little Flower
Little Flower
She wasn’t afraid to be little; she loved her littleness.
“If a little flower could speak, it seems to me that it would tell us quite simply all that God has done for it, without hiding any of its gifts. It would not, under the pretext of humility, say that it was not pretty, or that it had not a sweet scent, that the sun had withered its petals or the storm bruised its stem, if it knew that such were not the case.”
–St. Therese of Lisieux

About Cyanotype
About Cyanotype
The cyanotype is a photographic process that produces a Prussian blue monochrome print. Developed in 1842, this technique utilizes a photosensitive solution that reacts to sunlight exposure. Plants act as UV shields, leaving their impressions on the paper.
Each cyanotype print is unique, as variations in weather conditions or the distribution of the photosensitive solution can affect the shades of blue and imperfections, adding to the charm of this artisanal printing technique.

I bought 2 small artworks for myself and 2 bigger ones for a friend. The paintings look amazing on my living room console. Ting is an amazing artist and explains each painting and the process with utmost patience, which goes on to show her love for her work and nature. Thank you!
I love cyanotype so much and I was so happy to meet someone at this random market that I stumbled upon who makes beautiful pieces using this not so widely used technique. I can't wait to hang it on my wall, I'm just in search of the right frame!
