This piece is inspired by The Little Prince and his profound connection to his rose. The little prince and the rose sit on their planet, watching the stars bloom across the universe.
In the story, the little prince leaves his planet and his rose, feeling misunderstood and longing to explore. Yet, through his journey, he discovers that love makes his rose unique — not because she is perfect, but because she is his. She becomes special through the time and care he devoted to her. Though physically apart, she remains with him, living in his heart and guiding him back to what truly matters. The stars become a reminder of his rose, representing how love transforms our vision of the world — every star a bloom, echoing her presence.
This artwork features pressed flowers. Each piece is crafted by hand using real flowers, carefully collected and pressed throughout the seasons. The process of drying the flowers requires time and patience. Once dried, the flowers are meticulously arranged, adhered, cleaned, and sealed within frames.

MY FAVORITE QUOTES FROM THE BOOKS:
“It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important."
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
"All grown-ups were once children... but only few of them remember it"
“You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.”
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
PLEASE KEEP YOUR PRESSED FLOWER ARTWORK OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND HUMIDITY, OTHERWISE THEY WILL FADE MUCH FASTER.
- Please note that flowers change colors once dried and will look different than their fresh state. This is a normal and beautiful part of the process.
- Color changes during flower preservation are a natural and anticipated part of the process. Once dried, the pigments responsible for a flower’s hues break down, causing shifts in color. This natural change is a normal part of the process and doesn’t indicate any issues with the flower’s condition or the quality of preservation.
- We do not color enhance any flowers as we prefer to leave them in their organic, natural state. This means that over time you may start to see the flowers slightly fade in color.
